From the Manufacturer
Wave goodbye to generic products and allow us to introduce ManCave, the supreme-performance, natural men's grooming range with a fragrance.
True creativity also takes pride of place when it comes to choosing, using and enjoying male grooming products with inspired and natural originality, recreating the enthusiasm and panache of a rediscovered process: The Grooming regime by ManCave.
The ManCave recipe for success could be summarised as follows: first start with a natural active ingredient, such as the effective amino L-Arginine. Follow up with 12 essential oils, then complete each product with a signature key ingredient, ranging from Caffeine, Panthenol, Shea Butter, Borage Oil to the captivating scent of Cedarwood.
ManCave's mission it to provide products that are:
- High Quality
ManCave Caffeine Shampoo
What It Does:
- Cleanses hair and scalp
- Helps Strengthen Roots
- Moisturises hair with Vitamin E & Shea Butter
- Soothes scalp to prevent itchiness and dryness using Panthenol
- Encourages root stimulation using Caffeine
How To Use:
Rinse your hair in warm water and squeeze a penny sized amount of ManCave Shampoo into your palms. Rub the shampoo between your palms and massage into your scalp with the balls of your fingers. Then relax; leave the gel on the hair between 1-2 minutes to encourage intake of active ingredients into the hair and its roots. Repeat the process, then rinse thoroughly.
Much like the resourceful Explorer uses nature on his travels, ManCave have harnessed the natural active ingredients in a modern formula shampoo that gently cleanses and helps strengthen hair. Our inspiration was nutrient imbued plant life hidden in a green hued expanse of water, the embodiment of effectiveness and purity.
Formulated with Vitamin E, Panthenol and Shea Butter, the natural technologies moisturise your hair, to help improve the feel, shine and flexibility, whilst protecting hair from environmental damage. The shampoo itself smells nice, a fresh, “green” type of smell that reminds me of the great outdoors and , importantly for a mans shampoo is not girly sweet and floral.
I am happy to have my hair smell like this.
The packaging is shower friendly, with a flip top tube that can be opened and closed with wet hands or one handed easily.
The tube is also designed as a mans product and would not attract “banter” and mickey taking in the shower at the gym from your “mates”.
So why caffeine?
I had a little look around and found some information.
Basically sections of hair (samples in a dish, rather than on a head) were treated with caffeine; these sections showed that the hair follicles produced better and longer hair than the test sample that didn’t get any caffeine.
This improvement was more evident in the hair from females because of the lower levels of the male hormone testosterone – this is the stuff that causes problems with hair loss in males in the first place, but the male hair definitely benefited from this treatment.
Now to get the levels your hair needs from your “cuppa” you would need to drink around 55 cups a day, so a caffeine shampoo is going to be a lot more practical!
As for my results, well it is too early to tell at the moment, I haven’t developed the flowing locks of a Mills and Boon hero, but I have nice clean hair that is soft and shiny and it smells nice too. It has certainly done no harm and under the skin may well be working toward giving me the kind of hair Donald Trump can only dream of, who knows.
I have concluded that the best products to use on my hair are either the argan oil or caffeine infused shampoos and conditioners, followed up by the non-greasy pastes or gels. Now that we are in the early twenty-first century, there is a vast array of these products from various retailers, both on the high street and in specialist stores online, with several supermarkets and chemists additionally pushing their own brands of haircare regime product lines.
I found the ManCave range on Amazon as a recommendation after buying a product from the Bed Head range; a brand that works very well for me since first entering a salon for my first ever 'grown up' hair-cut. Their product line, that is steadily growing, seems to appeal to the 'out and about' individual who works long hours or those who like to venture to a lot of outside environments; attempting to keep hair sturdily clean and in place. It also seems to be made for the in-between market of consumers wanting high line male grooming items at a relatively affordable price.Read more ›
