Product description

Fantastically imaginative - Jonathan Whitelaw is a terrific writer. --Jo Spain, bestselling author of The Confession

Whitelaw puts the Devil in his proper place -- not the worst villain around by a large margin -- in his Swiftian satires. Delirious, diabolical and delightful. --Anthony O'Neill

It's rare to come across something that feels completely fresh, but Jonathan Whitelaw has cracked the case with his crime-fighting Devil, who breaks down the barriers between genres as well as much else besides. In The Man in the Dark , the caper novel has come bang up to date with a Satanic twist and some surprisingly topical political backstabbers. A lot of devilish fun is in store for readers. --Stephen Booth --This text refers to the paperback edition.
