What I did like is that each was an entire, very hot tale that took no more than around 10 mins to read, but for me, the Romance bit in the title is a bit of a misnomer. The first tale I read, the CT one, took place over I think, just one day and whilst the male lead explained that matings between shifters are not about love and romance, but 'imprinting', on the last page of the tale, he then does a turnaround and asks if she loves him until she says yes - it didn't quite work. The SW, MMP, AW ones were pretty good, and the DD one was the hottest of them all, but the latter TOTALLY lacked any hint of a romance; it was just about down and dirty lust and sex.
The foreword of this book does mention the difference between these tales and Mills and Boons of both yesteryear and today, and boy, was that difference rammed home, if you'll pardon the pun!
