I wouldn't say it fully merits the title: Bizarre, however the accounts are interesting and give e ouch information to allow you to follow up should you wish to. Some of the crimes are odd and some have the tragic-comic about them. If you are interested in true crime or in seeing where ideas come from this is a good read.

This book gives very brief information about a multiplicity of murders, and whilst interesting, it tries to do too much in too short a space of time allowing a page or at most two or three for each crime. If you are looking for bare outlines this is the book for you, but I would prefer slightly more information and less cases.

When either reading or watching serious crime on television I am always curious to discover where the methods used in the story line come from. For just that reason alone this ebook was a winner for me. I do not normally write with murder in mind, although I have been tempted before now to consider methods. This ebook fits the bill nicely.
I do recommend it for the serious students amongst us.

This is an amazing record of different types of crime. Whilst they're all accounts of heinous crimes, in my opinion the cases outlined are not bizarre. Even so, an essential read for any reader interested in true crime.

Great book, the stories could be a bit more detailed but it wet's your appetite to research further.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the chapters of this book are simply too short to get any depth whatsoever and I tend to finish one without realising what I have just read. I was expecting the chapters to be short, but this book doesn't offer enough detail to hold my attention.
