CLIFFHANGER ENDING :(
on 17 April 2014
This would have been five stars, BUT:
There was too much navel gazing. He's not who she thinks he is. She thinks she should be manproof to succeed, but they both spend waaaay too much time internally monologuing. We get it, already!
He's a successful genius entrepreneur, running a huge corporation, but forgets little details like HIDDEN CAMERAS? Huh-huh, right. That kind of focus must've really helped building his empire...
The threesome teasers feel forced and not contextual. The dream near the end is just bizarre - hot, yes, but it doesn't fit.
Bloody cliffhangers! The book built slowly, was very predictable and then just ended, wham, bam, oh, you've finished already.
On the plus side, when they weren't introspective and angsting, Lydia and Mike/Matt were well-drawn.characters. the best friends are nicely done too. It's an interesting premise, just too many glaring Aaaargh moments.
