It goes through brick and concrete like butter and makes chiselling stuff up or off easy. IMO these (SDS drills) are essential tools for any diy'er. The Battery power is plenty for home use and no annoying cables or puzzles when you need to use it at the end of the garden!
For anyone that relies on a normal hammer drill - dont. If your drilling into masonry its well worth getting one of these - if it suits your battery investment.
I’ve had makita tools for the past 12 years and would not change before it was Bosch.
If a power tool is weak I would break it very quick I push all my tools far past it’s limits.
Makita all day long.
