Rupa Huq's book exhibits brio and suburban style. It is a lively, engaging and informative read which will appeal to students and a wider audience too. Nick Hubble, Brunel University, UK

Two problems and suggestions I have found with this book so far...

From the language/grammatical point of view, her writing is appalling. Suggestion: a complete rewriting of the book. I'm surprised the proof-reader(s)/editor(s) of the book allowed it to be published as such.

My suggestion is also that a Filmography be added to the Bibliography including not only a list of full-length films mentioned in the book, but also any TV series mentioned therein.
