A good book well written and easy for beginner's like myself to understand. How ever like all Workshop practice book's I have read so far(and I own 5) the photographs are mostly dire and the book's could do with a "glossary of term's", and so a 4 star rating. Regards Gerry O.

The book arrived promptly and well packaged, with correct postage pre-paid. The explanations and examples are well done for even the novice, me, to understand. I've just got my first set of tools made and I intend to complete the book and make all of the examples, to embed my workshop practices before embarking on my main retirement project.

There are very few novel devices that are not familiar to anyone who has done a metalworking course. A good aide memoir for useful tools that are easy to make.

A book of reference with clear descriptions. Useful for the inexperienced worker. Perhaps more modern photos and an index would be an improvement.
