This book is informative enough and has a good list of worldwide suppliers for the leather - the only issue is that it should have been listed clearly by countries instead of a mess of information for internet links etc. It does contain patterns for those little bags that women still favour, but you could actually photocopy the patterns and blow them up to 25% or more to make bigger bags instead. Not all the designs are to my taste (but hey to each his own) so there is something there for everyone and even how to make accessories. You can use a home sewing machine to create these designs/projects as they require leather that you can wear (vegetable tanned). Few specific tools needed and recommend this for those who are serious about creating leather stuff/accessories.
