Amazon Review

The final episode of the fourth season of Friends was possibly one of the best-hyped comedy moments in television land, and caused a particular stir because it was filmed on the British side of the pond with the likes of Richard Branson, Jennifer Saunders and Fergie making brief but well-publicised cameo appearances.

Making Friends in the UK takes a sneaky peak behind the scenes of the making of "The One With Ross's Wedding", giving an insight into the shenanigans of the whole production team as they cope with the pressure of a tight filming schedule, a seriously hush-hush storyline and the British press pack at its best.

The comparison between the original draft of the script and the version that actually made it onto the screen is a hoot, and is made all the more interesting by the addition of hand-scribbled notes by the writing team who are employed to breathe life into this bunch of neurotic New Yorkers.

With previous love affairs reprised, quotes from the actors about themselves and the characters they play, and plenty of colour pics to remind you exactly just how beautiful these beautiful people really are, Making Friends in the UK is a fab, light-hearted read for true Friends aficionados. --Susan Harrison

EVERY friends fan must read this book. It is absolutley brilliant.
The book is mainly a copy of the original script of the 2 London episodes, complete with the writers notes, and then the finished version as we saw it on TV. It is also packed with photographs, and sections about the actors and the costume designers etc..
I must have read this book 10 times over, and I've never got sick of it.
A must for every single friends fan.

A am a huge friends fan, and I thought that this book was really great! It includes the script for the last episiode of the fourth series, and also TOW you weren't supposed to see! There are loads of pictures from that episodes, and also quotes from what the actors and writers said about making that episode! This is a great book for any friends fan!

"LONDON, BABY!" Okay, this is a truly great Friends book. The small sections about the guest stars were great and I liked the idea of including some information about the 'behind-the-scenes' work such as the making of Emily's wedding dress. The best part though had to be the rough draft of the script for the London episode, including all the writers' comments - some of which are very funny! I would recommend this for any 'Friends' fan...

This is an extremely good read for when you want a bit more info on Friends. The whole book is written, as with all the official Friends books, with a comedic vibe, and has loads of pictures and extras on the episodes. The script is very handy for reading about bits you may have missed or didn't even know were there (since alot of it was cut!). All in all, a great read and even cooler when bought in the London pack which it comes free in!

This book is well designed and easy to read, and has great snippets of info on behind-the-scenes activities. The best bit is the script, so that you can tell (if you are a big fan) which bits the've cut and it provides warm memories of Ross messing up the wedding! Great!
