Format: Paperback
This was on my firm's reading list for ICE chartership. Enjoyable read and insight into the experience of Happold, Rice, Piano & Rogers as they competed to design and then ultimately built the Centre Pompidou.

The main focus is the human dimension but the architecture, engineering and technical side are also covered. Only has a few pictures, which was a shame. Particularly the discussion of the structural system could have done with some diagrams.

Have enjoyed reading it though and recommended it to some of my colleagues.
