This product deserves 5 stars! But why have you only given it 4, I hear you ask? After all, it does exactly what it claims it will do, it's affordable, the service is great, so what's the problem?
It's the smell!
Please don't make me spell out what it smells like, I'm sure my review would not be allowed on here if I did! But I'm sure all the other customers who have mentioned the smell in their reviews know exactly what I'm talking about...
My advice: Buy the stuff, hold your breath while you're applying it and you're going to love the results. X

Keeps your make up on too well, but the skincare factors are missing

So yeah it does what primers do and keeps your makeup attached to your face, but having redness around my nose and cheeks, having to full on scrub it off every night is no good for me. I have broken out in spots all over my chin, forehead and cheek bones, I’ve had one huge spot under the skin in my chin and one under the skin on my nose aswell as the small ones, which have been very painful. The spots started in a matter of days, but I’ve tried this out for a few weeks as otherwise it’s not a fair trial and since not using it my skin is slowly but surely, with the help of blemish treatments, costing me a fortune, I’m getting back to normal. Prior to this the only spot I ever got was on my chin when it’s that time of the month. So I’m not particularly happy with this. It also makes your make up look and feel even more tacky. I think I’ll stick to using my foundation on top of moisturiser because this is perhaps the worst primer I’ve tried yet

This primer is amazing - if you use it properly. Apply 1/2 drops to the back of your hand and spread around all areas of your face, then leave for 10 mins before applying (water-based) makeup. I find that with this method, my makeup lasts so much longer and makeup actually stays on my nose!! I’ve been wearing makeup for 5 years and came to accept that makeup was never going to stay on my nose throughout the day, but can finally say that I’ve found a solution! No complaints as of yet and I’ve been using this for over a month.

This is a good primer and I have had no problems with my makeup lasting all day and it doesn’t seem to negatively effect my skin. However, I thought the... familiar smell was just my dirty mind but seeing other people say the same thing confirms my suspicions. It’s not a great smell but goes away pretty quickly if you can put up with it for a few seconds.

This product is unreal. I work in a café, and even after a day of making steamy coffees, running around waitressing and scrubbing pots in a boiling hot kitchen, my makeup was flawless. My foundation usually creases on my chin, around my dimples and under my eyes almost instantly after application, but wearing this product, my foundation didn’t crease slightly even after an entire day of wear! My skin also looked glowy, and my usual patches of dryness didn’t make an appearance. I literally never write reviews, but I just had to share how happy I am with this product! I highly recommend it, and of course the cruelty free and vegan aspects of this product just make it even better! I couldn’t be more impressed :-)

Being a lover of makeup finding a primer that worked for my skin was difficult. This product helped maintain my makeup through out the day and kept it in place all day. Only thing I would say is the smell is quite off putting. It's a very strong smell that isn't very pleasant but disappears after a few seconds, but other than that it's an amazing primer and if the smell doesn't bother you I think it is a must buy.
