If you are totally clueless i.e. you don't know how to match foundation to your skintone etc then this book is great. I personally didn't learn a lot from this....and most of the looks seem to be pretty low key.
The reason why I bought it is because I thought oh it has more pages than Jemma Kidd but it is not much better if you are a professional. It is not that bad it is more for complete begineres and I actually think that the title is misleading it should be "Make up for complete beginers" if you are on a more intermediate/advanced level the make up book from Scott Barnes foreword by Jennifer Lopez called: "About face celebrity makeup techniques" is great and in that book you see normal girls and celebrities who aren't naturally that beautiful looking extremely stunning.
I found it very helpful for my makeup course
