What can I say. I am now getting the best nights sleep I have had in ages. I am now not having to use it every night, but the quality of sleep I am getting, I thought I would never have again. This is the second book and CD I have had by Paul McKenna andthey have both worked. For interests sake the first was I can make you Stop Smoking. I last smoked 9years and 10months ago.

This excellent book was a life-saver for me. I turned to it when I was in despair after several months of insomnia, after having tried and failed with all sorts of other solutions. Was initially sceptical that the rather cheesy-sounding recording would have an effect, but I listened to it at bedtime, as instructed, and it began to make a difference after three or four nights. It totally broke the spell of the insomnia. The book has lots of useful exercises, too. I now return to the book and the recording if ever I have trouble with sleeplessness, and it always helps. Highly recommended.

Although I am not very good on the Computer, I managed to do the download. However, I am not able to separate the part I should listen to to go to sleep separately. It Plays the whole download one track after the other. Have pity on those of us who are not so Computer savvy. Would have much preferred a CD. Why is the Edition of this book with a CD so expensive?

Over the years I have gone through periods of not being able to sleep, or even worse, going to sleep for a few seconds out of every few minutes, then waking up again.

Obviously this is maddening and exhausting, and I was getting utterly desperate and would eventually have bought the book even if it had been much more expensive. But as the book was less than a tenner and included a CD, I thought it was worth a try.

It didn't produce an instant and permanent fix for my insomnia, but it definitely did improve my sleep patterns (and therefore my life!) dramatically.

It's about three years since I started listening to the CD, and most of the time it will put me to sleep within a few seconds. I hardly ever get to hear the end of it. And just as useful for me, when I do wake up again during the night, I don't get anxious about it and think, "Waaaah - it's 03:30 in the morning and I won't be able to get to sleep again now, and by the time I get up for work I'll be a zombie". Instead I think, "Well, I reckon I'll be able to get a few more hours' sleep between now and getting up, because 99% of the time that's what happens", and then I put the CD on and go to sleep. Hooray, and thanks Paul!

The other secret of my success has been to buy a 'Pillow Talk' speaker, which plugs into the CD or MP3 player etc, and goes underneath my pillow. That way I can listen to it without disturbing my husband, and without having to put earphones in my ears. 3.5mm Pillow Talk Speaker For Radio Or Audio Players
