There was very little if any romance in this book, very dissapointing.
It took two books to get to a wedding - to sum it up it was too stretched out with little content = boring

I highly recommend both books.
Had to stay on the treadmill an extra 20 minutes just to finish. At parts I couldn't put it down because I needed to know what would happen next; how things would tangle and untangle. There's a little mystery thrown in. Empathize and identify with the characters.
There are some wise truths that I am inspired to apply to my life.
I highly recommend this series by Amy Blakelear and can't wait until she writes more!
Ellie, Jared’s mail order bride, and Jared have been courting for several months and Jared still hasn’t kissed Ellie on the lips.
Ellie can’t understand why he hasn’t kissed her yet and worries if they will ever get married.
As a thank you to his Grammy for ordering him a mail order bride, Jared decides to return the favor and surprise her with a mail order husband. Unbeknownst to Jared the gentleman (I can think of more descriptive words to describe him but they are not suitable for a review) who answered his advertisement is the disgustingly vile and vengeful man whom Ellie had left Boston to escape.
I really enjoyed this book; it was full of laughter and suspense. I am looking forward to reading Amy Blakelear’s next book of the series - Mail Order Brides of Oregon Series: Book Three.
