About the Author
Mindy Klasky learned to read when her parents shoved a book in her hands and told her that she could travel anywhere in the world through stories. She never forgot that advice. When Mindy isn't "traveling" through writing books, she quilts, cooks and tries to tame the endless to-be-read shelf in her home library. You can visit Mindy at her Web site, www.mindyklasky.com.

(It is fantasy isn't it? Am I missing out here? Oh some of us have such exciting lives..)
How many of us have never blundered into the wrong guy's arms, completely failing to communicate with Mr. Perfect, who just Happens to be hanging around...Like, ALL the time?
And the inter-generational dynamics seem spot on, even for those who didn't have a crystal-weilding hippy-cult runaway as a mother.
Love, love, love Neko, her camp, untamed part-time-feline helper. He's the best character of all.
But there's the rub. Why and how she doesn't see how cool her set up is, I simply cannot fathom.
I want a basement full of menacing magical grimoires and cool crystals. I want a stern, hunky Warder to keep my spells on the straight and narrow. Being able to cast a spell on The Hudson River wouldn't suck either.
But there you go. Some people are never satisfied.
The last book in the series keeps you trapped in a state of suspended animation: you want to really yell at her this time, "Get a grip, girl!" But you have to just watch as it all plays out in slow motion, Jane muttering and cavilling the whole way.
And even though I wasn't there personally to give her a good shake, others were.. hilariously so. Dusting herself off after the drubbing she received at the manicured hands of the local vixens.. I mean witches, she finally goes after her power.
Does she get there in the end? Do you Really want me to tell you?
Let's just say I was grinning inanely by the time I finished and leave it at that, shall we?
I know it's the end of the trilogy, but I feel a saga coming on. 'Jane and the Magical Madison Mavens', or 'Jane Kicks Ass in Corporate Coven', kind of thing..
They deserve it.
My Kindle is waiting.
Each book grows more it didn't make me want to try working magic but it did make me wonder about all the unexplained things that are going on around us & what if!!!!
Definitely worth reading for a refreshing change
