Review
"Madeleine is not only an impressive and well-written chronicle of a terrible crime, it is a must-read because someone out there knows something"--James Murray, The Sunday Express
"Powerful … Kate’s book blazes with the sheer, visceral force of her love for her daughter"--Sandra Parsons, Daily Mail
"Mrs McCann writes honestly about her torment"-- Robert Mendick, The Sunday Telegraph
"It’s hard to read these words without wanting to weep"--Christina Patterson, Independent
"This haunting account makes me rue the day I doubted them"--David Jones, Daily Mail
"It is high time the McCann haters pushed off... It seems clear that, far from self-justifying, or attention-seeking, this book is what it has always been about for the McCanns – a practical solution to fundraising."--Barbara Ellen, The Observer

About the Author
Kate and Gerry McCann established Madeleine's Fund: Leaving No Stone Unturned in 2007, to enable them to continue the search for their daughter, who was abducted in Praia da Luz, Portugal on Thursday, 3 May 2007. As there is now no law-enforcement agency in the world actively looking for Madeleine, the fund enables a small team of very committed and experienced people to investigate Madeleine's disappearance. It also runs awareness campaigns in several countries, to ensure the public know that Madeleine is still missing, and to encourage them to remain vigilant. There is no evidence to suggest that Madeleine has been harmed and it is therefore vital to keep looking for her and those who took her. It is for this reason that all royalties earned from the sales of this book will be donated to Madeleine's Fund.
The directors of the company are Michael Linnett, Edward Smethurst, Jon Corner, Kate and Gerry McCann and Kate's uncle, Brian Kennedy. Once Madeleine has been found the fund will be used to assist searches for other missing children worldwide.

However, kidnapping was ruled out by the Portuguese Police who maintained that Madeleine was not kidnapped, but had met her death in the villa bedroom that night. Kate and Gerry McCann were made suspects. ( known as 'arguidos' in Portuguese ). Despite strong evidence against them, Kate and Gerry have continued to vehemently deny any involvement in their daughter's death or hiding of her body.
As stated, I found that this book was centred mainly on the lives of Kate, Gerry and their respective families, and also their backgrounds of life in university etc., and just like the videos produced on YOUTUBE, there was little that I saw that showed concern for their daughter Madeleine, who to this very day is known to be still missing. The case remains a mystery to many, but not so to the Portuguese Police so it seems to the judiciary who have not removed the status of 'Suspect' being removed from Kate and Gerry McCann.
Didn’t finish it got bored after first couple chapters all about kate and Gerry
My heart goes out to Kate and Gerry. The appalling treatment they have received from people who should have helped is disgusting. How these parents have carried on is beyond me, fortunately they are made of stronger stuff.
Kate appears to have been brutally honest and faced some pretty awful fears in this book, it must have been hard to do.,
I’m glad I purchased this book as new so that the funds continue to go towards Madeleine’s search. I hope one day they will all be reunited. I wish the family all the very best and will continue to be vigilant for my own child and for Madeleine.
Good luck. Xxx
Her mother writing, the book is very emotional. I hope Madeleine will be found soon, and I certainly hope she is alive.
According to the book, her parents are still full of hope and miss her dearly.
It’s quite a long book, but rewarding to read and I recommend it to anyone interested in the McCann story, or media attention, or abducted children.
