Its fair to say that Machine Head fans are insanely loyal, including me, and this album will have been purchased immediately on release. The last 3 MH albums have all been top notch metal classics and the set here is heavily weighted accordingly, Imperium and Aesthetics Of Hate sound especially ferocious. The older songs, though fewer in number, are beefier than their studio versions and sound all the better for it. This is a fairly raw recording IMHO, but this actually adds to the experience as the listener becomes drawn in to the whole atmosphere of a live MH show. Robb Flynn is a first class frontman, in the same vein as Corey Taylor, and his exhortations and calls to arms come across strongly. The guitars sound fantastic, that trademark dry scrape distortion is captured beautifully. If you are a MH noob then get Burn My Eyes and The Blackening first, but if you are in any way a fan then this is essential listening. Crank it up, crack a cold one and prepare to destroy your living room and your spine!

I am a huge fan of Machine Head, I saw them live in Glasgow in december 2011 and was completely blown away! Aside from being my all time favorite band, they are one of the few that sound just as good, if not better live! One reason for this is that they get the audience involved with circle pits and all sorts, but all in all you must get this live album, you won't regret it! Sheer Brillance from one of the finest metal bands around, nothing much else to say apart from get it now!

The overall production is very good, MH live can sometimes be a bit flaky in this department, and listening to it takes me back many years/albums/gigs. The songwriting, back catalogue and crowd love for the band really shine through and engage at an emotional level. Great band, great album

I bought this album originally because of the amazing atmosphere that you get from putting a MH live album on at full volume. But even better, I discovered a large chunk of the recording was from the gig at Manchester central when I was there! So it brought back some awesome memories !
