Let me start with my system specs and all the problems I ran into with this board!
Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
16GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 1070ti GPU
CX500M PSU
BX300 SSD (Windows pre-installed)
When I first purchased this board I made sure it would run with my cpu and it all checked out.
After building my pc with this board I ran into a "no post" so started troubleshooting, I went through every trouble shooting methods under the sun only to realised signal is only coming out of HDMI instead of DP. So I finally managed to get to post but it wouldn't boot, it will always take me to BIOS/UEFI.
This was my second problem, for some reason the mobo will not let me choose my ssd as a bootable drive, even though it has windows installed. It would be recognised as a drive but would not boot from it and showed unavailable in the boot priority section. This resulted in me having to purchase another ssd and transfer my copy of Windows to this drive. Finally I got it to run properly
After installing all nessasary drives and updating I ran into the 3rd problem. The lack of USB 2.0 ports. Turns out there is limited resources to run usb ports, usb 2.0 uses the least and 3.2 will use the most. Having to occupy most usb ports with my peripherals resulted in "not enough USB controller resources" and there is no fix for this, only to use usb 2 ports instead.
There have been some other bugs and glitches also but these have been minor and I have not had the time to look through them. Overall very dissatisfied with this board even though i consider it good value for money. Will possibly be returning soon.
