The abominable living conditions created by war-torn Germany points to all the directions men take in response to the worst that man can do to man--or is it always human? What form can evil actually take? In this supernatural thriller, evil takes the form of Historian as he weaves in and out of multi-plotted cataclysmic historical events combined with the fictional German family of Terrell Engels. Historian is more terrifying than the Gestapo or Secret Police as he preys on the weak to create history. The book runs the gambit of characters in the staunch Nazi-supporter uncle of Theo to the innocent young soldiers inducted in a war neither of their choice or strength to save themselves. Theo's family includes Ida, a nurse, his daughter and son and they are not alone in their silent but dangerous rebellion to the escalating demands of Nazi terrorizing tactics. As the war progresses and death and destruction are rained down on their ancient and beautiful city of Dresden, the description of the bombs devastation escalates into the obliteration of hastily built but inadequate shelters and places the reader in the middle of ear-splitting bursts and noxious, oxygen depleting fumes. I was given this book in exchange for a review--and was blown away. Other than the current spate of edit errors (which are to be corrected shortly), this book should be on the best seller's list for everyone. Please--we don't ever want to see this history repeated!

The story of MOLDING MEN: World War II Germany (Historian Thriller Stories Book One 1) by Ray Ronan is a Historical Fiction/Occult book. 1907, a ritual is taking place. One that will lead a country into one of the darkest chapters of world history. What happens next will cause millions to suffer and the more the better for him, his name is Historian. A creature that doesn’t write history he manipulates it to his own ends. He wants to know if you want a favor and in war torn Germany who would not. A loved one returned to them, a country wants to win a war, all he asks is a favor in return. However is the price too high?
I had to stop and think about this book before I wrote this review. World War II was such a horrendous time in history and so many innocent lives were affected, this book brings it to the fore front again. The names of the main players have not changed. This is a true time in history and through the characters in the book I was able to find myself in Dresden, Germany only able to imagine and feel as one can when you have not lived through a historic event. The family that you follow through this book are sympathetic and the amount of detail that went into this book must have been tremendous.
Anyone who loves Historical Fiction and a creature that will make the things that go bump in the night seem like a fuzzy bunny, needs to read this book. As this states it is Book One of Historian, I have a feeling that it is not the last we will see of him. A highly recommended book.
