What's to say about 3M MIcropore tape except it is in my opinion the best. All the others, even though they claim to be hypoallergenic, eventually irritate my skin to varying degrees and seeing I need to use it a lot I don't mind spending a few pence extra for the good stuff to avoid the irritation.

I am male and before this product suffered massively with chafing of the nipples. To say I suffered would be an understatement - on a recent half marathon I wondered why people were glancing at my Acorns charity running vest. Why I wondered, especially as I had put on the last resort plasters after all of "the usual" runners remedies drew a blank for me. I did have some discomfort in the nipple area, until I got to the end I discovered that the waterproof plasters had gone south - one was stuck to my belly button and the other was nowhere to be seen. But there were blood stains down my top and streaks all the way into my underwear - it had bled that much. But now - I have done several runs using a small slither of tape on each nipple - I have not had one second of problems since. I would advise, however, to run water on the tape or soak it off in the bath. I just went for the rip and grimace method and had to check if my nipples were on my body or stuck to the tape - I really wasn't sure!! In conclusion a fabulous product (wherever it is bought from) that has stopped a horrendous problem from happening.

I use this for my shoulder as I had injured it while working out. I've never been able to get it back to normal as I have to keep using my arms, so my shoulder never has time to repair. I use this tape to tap up my shoulder as I am allergic to the material oxide tape. This is not quite as good as that, but it does the job. It give the support that my shoulder need and stops me from stretching it. I feel my shoulder is finally healing.

arrived on time in perfect condition.
A good strong tape that adheres to the skin very strongly and is quite difficult to remove.
I have found this tape very useful with pain relief magnets .

Ideal for runners to prevent the "runners nipple" problem!

Comes out quite easily with some water in the shower without pulling much of chest hair.

I use it to hold strips of fabric plaster to the backs of my ankles when I'm going to run in boots all day to prevent blisters. Two pieces overlapped by about 15mm, one on each side of the 50mm plaster, and another two lengths, one across the back of my ankle under the sticky-out bones, and another from their ends under the foot - both make a sort of stirrup. It will actually last from Saturday morning, through the night, and until Sunday evening, without coming off or getting squashed into uncomfy lumps. When I want it off again, it comes off painlessly.

As a runner and triathlete I learned that increasing distances to around 10km would lead to chafed nipples. A bit of Googling and I learned that jogger's nipple was a recognised condition, maybe only in the eyes of the running community and not the medical one, almost exclusively male as ladies have some protection from their sports bras. Thankfully mine never reached bleeding stage but they're certainly not comfortable.

Plasters did the trick for me but seriously pulled hairs on removal, a friend finds plasters simply slip when sweaty. Google suggested micropore tape which I'd never heard of, but obviously Amazon have. This stuff solves the problem for me and is a lot easier to remove than plasters.

You can get 2.5cm wide tape as well which is slightly cheaper but might not quite cover one's nipples, the 5cm wide variety ought to for virtually all males.

There appear to be limitations though, I did my first half-marathon last year and there was still some chafing by the end of the longer distance, anyone looking to do further than that might want to look at alternative options. Now that I am aware of micropore tape and how it might benefit me, I did spot some (2.5cm) in Sainsburys recently, priced at under a pound so you might be able to get this cheaper elsewhere along with your groceries. It's hardly a pricey purchase here though given delivery is included and it looks as though mine will last me close to a year before I need to get any more.

This item is as described. I ordered this wide surgical tape for taping body parts for modesty but it does not hold. Otherwise the product is what is sold as surgical tape for bandages etc and good quality one, although not good for the purpose I ordered it for unfortunately
