The pouch is well made for the price , as others have observed it is a Maxped. copy , and as such works well on http://www.amazon.co.uk/MFH-Molle-Shoulder-coyote-tan-Size/dp/B006MUK5A2/ref=sr_1_88?m=A2QODR4IZFO7VH&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1400357874&sr=1-88 which is similarly ...derived :-) .
The pouch is of tough material , the zips and velcro are well set , the stitching is good but lacks the precision of the Maxped items . For the price though , you'd be foolish to complain .
The main zipped compartment ( 2 pullers with cord loops) is well sized to take a 3"X5" pocket notebook , and has two open top flat slip pockets (one front one back) suitable for small items . The front pocket has a big lump of velcro plus a QR buckle and strap to secure it . The top is not sealed (small items could fall out if the pouch was inverted ) and this pocket seems to be more quick access than secure storage . It also has small flat slip pockets front & back , plus a captive bungee cord & cord grip which can hold the pocket flat if required . There is a further small zipped pocket on the outside of the front flap .
There is a flat , open topped pocket on the back between the back of the pouch and the two poppered straps , but this is not accessible the way I am using the pouch .
I've deducted a star because the poppers which hold the two belt loop straps on the back do not click shut in an inspiringly positive way , or have velcro back up , quite a gentle tug will cause the pouch to part from whatever it is looped to . Not a big problem , as some velcro straps on the molle loops will keep it locked to my bag , but this may be an issue for anyone wishing to use it on a belt .
Apart from that one caveat this is a neat , capacious little pouch with a multitude of possible uses , I'm well impressed !
