    Great for finding extra handlebar space for computer, sat nag, bell, lamp, camera, etc.

    I bought this to fit my bike headlamp high enough to shine over the bar bag.
    1. It's not tall enough to hold the headlamp high enough.
    2. It can only be fitted to the wider diameter part of the bars next to the bar stem which is already taken by the bar bag clamp.

    The item is very well made, excellent in fact, and would be easy to fit. However, if you want it to fit a headlamp and you have a bar bag, forget it.

    This extender is made of plastic and snapped when fitting to the bike handlebar - will be returning. SJSCYCLES has a good reputation among long-distance cyclists, so I am surprised they sell such a poor quality item. Perhaps it is a weakness of this this particual item, but I will not trust this design again - extenders need to be more robust. In a way I am pleased it happened at home rather than on a longer ride where I would have problems with re-fitting the lights! Price does not excuse poor quality as you can get a more solid competitor for under 20 quid.

    Half the price of many similar products and very easy to fit therefore switch from bike to bike or add/remove for different trips. Slidable bar and reversible design make it much more versatile than many branded products. Only drawback is that the bar is the same gauge as the very narrowest steel handlebars (as fitted on a sit-up-and-beg bike), so you need a heck of a lot of rubber gaskets when attaching a light/computer bracket designed for 25-32mm bars.

    I ordered one of these originally, but when I saw it on the bike I realised that it was going to be slightly too narrow for what I wanted, so I ordered another. I fitted the two mounts either side of the stem and tried the two bars side by side. 90mm was too short, but 180mm was going to be too long, so I found another bar to fit tightly inside the two plastic tubes, Araldited them together and then used a plumber's pipe cutter to trim them to 120mm long. Using the pipe cutter was very simple and ensured a neat finish with no jagged edges or uneven cuts. Finally, I fitted the extended bar into the two brackets and was able to mount two lights with space in between for a cycle computer/GPS unit. The end result is a secure mounting point for accessories that is neat and professional-looking. I'm extremely happy with the finish and build quality and highly recommend these to anyone looking for a little more space to mount accessories

    It states:

    Suitable for 22.2mm and 31.8mm bars. YES THIS IS CORRECT
    Tube Diameter 22.2mm. Width 90mm. YES THIS IS CORRECT

    What you MUST check is the diameter of the gadget/light fittings as all mine are 25mm and therefore they don't fir this 22mm tube.

    In reality you can only get two items fitting on this tube, so you are only actually getting one extra item by spending £10.

    I even tried other uses for it like on the seat post for an extra rear light but again the extender tube was too small for normal rear light fittings.

    In my opinion a waste of money, spend an extra £5 and get the Topeak BarXtender

    As a bar extender this is a good product. However, the product description did not make it clear that the mounting bar itself is not 22mm. This means that many standard items made to fit 22mm handlebars do not fit it properly and need spacers added so they can fit it. I also had a 22mm bar with lights fitted that I wanted to use which has meant that I cannot close the mount and am relying on the stiffness of the plastic to hold it in place.

    Ich habe mir 2 davon zugleich ans Mountainbike installiert, die beide die gleiche Plastikstange halten - das Ganze sitzt jetzt atombombenfest. An's Rennrad habe ich mir einen einzelnen Handlebar-Organizer geklemmt, da es nicht so viele Erschütterungen aushalten muss. Sitzt auch wie eine 1.

    Ein anderer Rezensent hat geschrieben, dass man die Schreiben nicht zu fest anziehen darf... Ja klar, wenn man natürlich mit Brachialgewalt an sowas ran geht, dann bricht es. Ist bei PC-Schrauben übrigens genauso, daher kein Abzug beim Produkt - zu festes Verschrauben ist ein Fehler des Benutzers.

    Kurzfassung: Tolles Produkt. Wie es bei dünneren Lenkern hält, kann ich aber nicht beurteilen.

    Tja was soll man hier Schreiben, simpler Artikel mit Klemmung und Gummi/Kunststoffreduziereinlagen.
    Einfachst Artikel, dürfte eigentlich nur 3 Euro kosten, ist aber teurer und somit dann auch teuer.
