LYNDSY SPENCE is an author, historian and screenwriter. She is the founder of The Mitford Society, an online community dedicated to the Mitford girls and is the editor of its annual. She has written for mainstream publications such as BBC News magazine, The Lady, Social and Personal, Daily Express, Daily Mail, as well providing editorial content for magazines worldwide. Her books have been mentioned on Classic FM, and in Vanity Fair, Elle (Italy), Tatler (Russia), Daily Mail, Evening Standard, The Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Times, The Spectator, The Independent, Vintage Life, and exclusively covered in YOU magazine. She is an experienced features writer and radio guest, as well as a book reviewer for The Lady. Her screenwriting credits include The Flower Girl, a short film directed by Emmy Award winner Nick Nanton, as well two television series in development with a British production company. Her book, The Mistress of Mayfair: Men, Money and the Marriage of Doris Delevingne was optioned by Atlantic Screen Productions.
