Our taps work on water systems that produce a minimum of 0.5 bar water pressure, however to get the best results we recommend using a water system that produces 1.0 bar pressure. This can be achieved by using one of the following systems:
- Combination boiler systems
- Gravity fed systems (only with a pump)
- Megaflow system
- Pumped hot water systems
- Un-vented hot water systems
- Standard pressurized hot water cylinder type systems

After 13 months the tap is destined for the bin and I have ordered a grohe to replace it. A poor quality product, save yourself money and buy a more expensive tap
Also, in case you miss it, only hand-tighten the hose fittings into place.
The filter array in the removable end of the tap does produce a nicely controlled stream and also means it doesn't drip at all when the tap is turned off. However, it does restrict the flow a little, which is to be expected, The general flow of the tap isn't good on tank fed hot water, so if you are in a bungalow with standard hot water headers tank in the loft, this will be disappointing. You really do need a lot of tank height and preferably a pump or mains-powered system.
so far so good.!!!!!!
UPDATE Dec 2015 after less than 7 months use both taps leak, checked the ceramic valves inside they have the thinnest nylon (plastic) washers which wear unevenly I purchased mine from Home treats for £35.87, I have just sent a second Email after no response from the first over a month ago, looks nice but very cheaply made. I would not recommend.
UPDATE 2 19 12 2015.I have now been sent a replacement tap by Home Treats, I hope this one lasts longer.
UPDATE 23 02 17 Do not buy this second tap now worn out, spout now wobbles every where and drips, supposed to have 10 year guarantee, but seller nor Amazon respond.
The treads for the water connections are so corroded that it is not possible to screw in the water feeds. We will see whether they will actually send me a new and working tap this time round. I don't believe these people understand how much upheaval they cause when they leave customers for weeks without a kitchen tap.
Lifetime guarantee No Problem
Sent photos of the damaged tap but they would not send a replacement and just blew me off
She bought a replacement (because it's cheap) - new design (not as pictured) with screw on taps, and one tap fell off within a week - Thread no long enough and just stripped off - I "mackled it up" with a long screw when visiting
My Mum lives 75 miles from me so this whole episode has taken months to sort out - until the other tap falls off
