Oh how I love these Colloway brothers! I have fallen in love with each and every one of them and Luke is definitely my latest favorite. Having read the previous books (which I really would recommend doing so before reading this book), I was super excited to read more about Luke and what happened to him and where he was going to go.

This book has it all; love, trust, romance, angst, secrets, betrayals, family ties, loyalty, chemistry, tears, laughs, happiness... the list is endless! Oh and it's super hot! Luke and Addy have some amazing chemistry between them. That popsicle scene.... I'm saying no more, but wow!!

My favorite quote has to be the bit that ends with "You're my colour", and the first time Luke says it... Oh my days...the feels!!!

I won't say much more, but I will say, pick up these books and read them - you won't regret it. They are wonderful stories, by a really fantastic author who tells brilliant stories. I can't wait for the next brother!!

5 colourful stars!

Although this can be read as a standalone story, I really would suggest that you try to find some time for the other books in the series as the Colloway Brothers are guys you are really going to want to get to know and there are a couple of items that seem to overlap from previous novels, although they do not detract from the story.
Luke’s past is a weight that he carries with him, unable to shake of the pain of the mistakes that he feels have removed the possibility that anyone will ever be able to love him. He has an almost persecution complex, feeling that anyone who aligns themselves with him is likely to be contaminated by his darkness…come on man get a grip!
Now, I don’t like a man that wallows , so this aspect of his personality was far from attractive to me but I hold my hands up because my disappointment was merely fleeting because when he is in full flow, this man is quite simply divine!
Luke likes Addy, he has for a while but since she is the sister of his best mate, things have been a little complicated. Now I find this whole concept completely unfathomable, really what the heck is going on with guys when they can be best buddies but can’t date the sister?
So when he finally gets his finger out and decides to make his move, I was delighted.
He was determined, pig-headed, alpha, call it what you will but hell would freeze over before anything stopped him from achieving his objective and that was to make sure that she knew exactly where they stood, she was his!
Now, I know the cave man attitude might not appeal to everyone and it certainly didn’t have Addy falling at his feet because boy did that girl give him a run for his money, she was having none of his sexy as sin ways and was determined to thwart him at every single opportunity. And I loved it!!!

I beta read Luke's Absolution last summer, so some of it may have changed but the one thing I know that won't is that I love this book.

Luke's story is the third instalment of K.L. Kreig's The Colloway Brothers series, a series which just gets better and better.

Ever since meeting Luke in Forsaking Gray (I wont say more on this as I don't give spoilers) I have had to know more about him, how his life took the turn it did. I wouldn't say I begged K.L. but she might say different :D.
Luke is the bad boy come good that most girls fall for in their teens and reminisce over when they are women. Reality often sucks when we meet them again but Luke, Luke is an open book shrouded in mist and mystery, even to his family. His story is painted on his body if only someone took the time to read him.

Enter Addy... this story is not just about Luke ***takes a short mental break to day dream*** it is just as much about Addy, Livia's best friend and she is as a feisty as they come. You don't want to get on her bad side as she packs quite a punch (just ask Luke).

I am a huge fan of KL Kreig (even though she wont let me look in her basement where she keeps all the sexy Colloway Brothers hidden), its not just the stories she writes and the characters she brings alive. It's the way she does it, the way she writes and how she is able to capture the emotional turmoil of a scene and channels the emotions onto the page.
I have loved each of the Colloway Brothers, okay so I took a little longer to warm up to Asher but we got there in the end. Luke is my, I wont say favorite, as we know how competitive the boys are, but Luke is the black sheep, the misunderstood, the balm to my soul. And Addy? Well she is like a best friend to me and I love her as much as Luke.
So thank you KL for bringing these characters into my world, and one day I may be able to persuade you to leave the basement open just a crack for a peek :D

I know I'm behind on the Colloway Brothers, and if the rest of them are as hot as Luke, then you better believe I'm going back and reading the rest of the books in the series!!

Luke has a secret that is weighing on him and he can't seem to forgive himself for what he's done in his past, but he did it to save a life, a life that he thought he loved dearly. Luke had feelings for his brother's wife but I guess they weren't that deep because when he met her best friend Addy, his thoughts were completely consumed by her from the moment he laid eyes on her.

Addy has harbored a super crush on Luke since he first started hanging out with her brother. But her brother always tried to keep her away from guys like him and Luke was just like him. They both did things that were not acceptable and the last thing her brother wanted was for Addy to find herself a man like that. But Addy seemed to find the bad boys attractive and she knew they were bad news especially since she kept getting her heart broken by them.

When Luke moves in the same apartment as Addy, boy crap just hits the fan and the chemistry is so freaking hot between them. They fight like cats and dogs but at the same time those heated glances they give each other just makes you wet your panties!

Will Addy break down those walls and give Luke a chance?

Will Luke finally get absolution for what he's done in his past and prove to Addy that he's a changed man and he actually does care and love her?

This book was outstanding. I loved every second of every moment of this book. I was glued and I mean glued to my seat and just kept going and going until I reached the end and had a satisfied smile to my face when I was done reading this book.

Addy and Luke made the absolute best couple. I loved how they kept going back and forth with their rants and when it came down to making love it was sweet love that had me going (awwww)!

4.5 stars!
