It's been a while since I've enjoyed a book so much. It's a fast moving, fun read and is perfect for reading while commuting, on holiday, in the bath - anywhere! The main character is great and you can really relate to her. A brilliant book for escaping the day to day routine. Can't wait for the author's next offering!

This has got to be one of the best stories I have read, I couldnt sleep until I knew what happened next. I honestly could not put it down and I really felt like i knew the characters and felt that I was watching it rather than reading it. Paige has gone out to make the characters and places in the story as true as possible.

brings you excitment and is moving. Definately a big thumbs up. Oh and I have started to make my tea with the milk in first ;)

I bought this book on a Monday lunchtime and by Wednesday evening, throughout train journeys to and from London, I'd finished it. I've not read a book so quickly in years. I absolutely loved it. From the word go, you felt for Lucy's character and wanted to know what her boyfriend had been up to. I liked the way it went throughout the year, with Lucy's feelings wavering between James and Nathan and the reader really not knowing where she's going to end up.

Loved the ending and glad she chose although wish there'd been more as to where she decided to ultimately be - perhaps that's for the sequel?!

2.5 stars.
A little bit disappointed in this book, I normally enjoy Paige Toon's characters a lot more! Lucy just seemed incredibly immature during the whole book, and the way she suspected James but then just accepted his explanations without a though was infuriating. And the fact that she carried on with Nathan - not cheating but kind of cheating - yet got annoyed with James if things seemed off with him. The way things ended with James didn't really rectify how Lucy had been with Nathan in my opinion.

I did enjoy seeing Meg make an appearance, I'm presuming that was our Nutmeg from Johnny Be Good before Johnny! I'll have to reread it now to see if she mentions Tom as I can't remember!

Lucy in the Sky by Paige Toon is one of the best chick lit books I have read in a long time! Having picked it up by chance, I read the whole book cover to cover in three days as I could not put it down! From the very first page I felt I could relate to Lucy, and Toon managed to form her character perfectly. All the main characters in the book, especially Lucy, Molly, Nathan and James were developed very well and I felt drawn to them all, but for different reasons. The scenery was set perfectly, from cold wintery London, to the hot summer in Sydney. It was described in vivid and colourful detail, drawing me into the story and feeling like I was there. The plot is fast moving and flows flawlessly from chapter to chapter, with all threads continued and tied up well. I simply could not put it down. I just hope from the ending that there will be a followi up and soon...what happens to Nathan and Lucy???? I really want to know now!!! Truly brilliant first novel by Toon. Eleven out of ten.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Lucy goes to Australia (where she grew up) for her friends wedding & as she's boarding the plane recieves a life changing text. The book kept me thinking & wondering all the way through. It also made my opinions on the characters change regularly. Its a very good read especially for a debut novel.

As always Paige Toon never fails to impress!
Just like all her previous books I could not put this down!
I can always relate to her main characters and there is always such a profound romantic aspect to her writing throughout the entire book.
My favourite thing about Paige Toon is how multiple characters from her other books are always incorporated in to every single one! It makes you feel as though everything of her's that you read is actually a reality as opposed to fiction.
I highly recommend this read along with all her others!
