"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

I can't decide whether I liked this third book in the series even more than the others because I am now invested in the characters, or because of the story itself. Either way, this is a really good read. It is fun, it is serious, and it is hot. The tinges of control and submission interwoven between friendship and more ... beautifully done.

I am now asking Ms Gendron to please hurry up with book 4, so that I have an excuse to read the first three again - thanks in advance!

FIVE STARS

Reviewed by Claire Rose for Kindle Friends Forever

This is the third book TroubleMaker novel and each book is a standalone. Although I haven't read the first two books, I loved this one and would love to read the next one and any more in the series.

Luke O'Conner, aka Lucky, has everything a woman wants or needs. A loving family, his own business and a godly body. The problem is Lucky bares guilt from events that happened when he was a teenager and he can't move forward. While trying to remember the safety deposit vault numbers he’d had installed, he’s distracted by one very high maintenance co-worker and a drunk woman in the shop and has no option but to go and investigate. This inebriated woman just happens to be a Kaley’s BFF.

Kaley is having a tattoo done and because of the disturbance, he not only ends up tattooing her, but he also has to put things right since his co-worker screwed this young gal’s tattoo up. There is an instant attraction between the two of them, so he flirts with her and she flirts back knowing nothing will become of it. Or so he thinks until he realises he's made a dreadful mistake and he must find Kaley as she is the only one who has the answer.
Kaley was a successful child actress and struggling with her own events in her life, in her career and in her relationship with her mother. Even though she becomes rebellious, Kaley herself knows what she wants. She has a strong personality and has a best friend that every woman should have, too.

Lucky has no option but to find Kaley if he wants to get back what he inadvertently gave her. What is it you may ask? Well, not even she knows what it is and the only way to find out is by reading this story with a brilliant and fast-moving plot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the very first page.

Luke ‘Lucky’ O’Conner looks like a badass – he’s tatted, gorgeous, charming, serious man-candy, and committed to being a bachelor because of something that happened in his past.

Kaley Harlow is a good girl actress, desperate to break out of that mould, so she can leave the acting world behind her and get on with college and a different life. She also has issues from her childhood.

When the two meet, the chemistry is undeniable. I loved how Lucky brought out the naughty, bad girl in Kaley, and I loved how Kaley brought out the caring, tender man in Lucky.

This was a great story which was well paced and sizzling sexy hot! It was an easy, enjoyable read and I’ll definitely be reading more from this author!

Luke 'Lucky' O'Connor has a tattoo parlour with a new safe. he needs to remember the number, but his cousin tips ink all over the piece of paper. Kaley arrives for a tattoo, so Luke does what he does best, a tattoo, but uses the numbers for the safe and turns them into birds on Kaley's hip! He needs to get up close and personal with the former child star out to ruin her reputation, so she can go to college. cant be too difficult, surely?? someone should have told his heart that.

I LOVED this one! enjoyed it much more than the other two. its funnier, sexier, wittier, and MORE cousin's popping up, leading into the next book. I felt for Luke, though, with his brother Fallon being missing. Fallon is mentioned in all three books, his wife died 3 years ago, and he has been absent since then. he does actually pop up in this book, but Luke doenst see him. Kaley does.

Luke thinks he is bad for Kaley, he has a secret that could take her away from him. Fallon helps him see sense, even if Luke doesn't actually speak with him. some of those voice mails Luke leaves must be very long!

seriously enjoying this series, and I hope I get the opportunity to read them all, as they come out!

still not QUITE 5 fangs, but 4.75. I think I would like them to be longer, a bit fleshier for them to get 5.

SUMMER'S BOOK BLOG

This is an amazing story about how sometimes the person we least expect to save us is the exact person we needed all along.

Lucky… His motto is “Nobody ever getting this Lucky.” A true bachelor he has never had the one month anniversary because his relationships don’t last that long. Unfortunately for Lucky he believes he doesn’t desire love, or to be happy. A daily struggle, he tries to move on from his past, but with an estranged twin brother constantly on his mind he must learn to forgive himself for things that were once out of his control.

Kaley is an ex-star fighting desperately to break free from her former good girl role. She is used to being at the bottoms of peoples list when it came to importance. But all that was about to change. No longer caring what people thought of her she decides to take her life into her own hands. Breaking free from the girl she used to be she decided to change her image and a chance meeting with Lucky is exactly what she needs to do it. But Lucky could be more than she bargained for when his intentions become more selfish than what they originally agreed on.

This story was intense! Kelly did a fantastic job at showing where these two characters were coming from. The book being told in a third person pov also offered inner thoughts which I loved!! I loved Lucky! I saw him setting her up right from the start and all I could do was laugh. He was sexy, and charming but under it all you could see his inner pain along with his inner beauty. Such an amazing male character! And Kaley was the perfect girl for him. Never acting bratty or selfish she was toe to toe with him every step of the way and she never backed down. She is exactly what he needed to move on. I can’t wait for to see what Kelly writes next!!

HASH(0x99433570) out of 5 stars Awesome Book, great story love!! 29 April 2014

Lucky Numbers is the 3rd book in the Trouble Maker series but hold your horses. No need to run out and purchase books 1&2 just yet so you can get yourself acquainted with the storyline as this delightful book is a true standalone. However after enjoying Lucky Numbers, you will want to read all of this superb writers' works. I fell enlove with her creative storyline centered around vibrant and interesting characters. The dialogue and layout was perfect and set the scene for an amazing read. Throughout this enthralling romance, the phrase "Poetry in motion," often came to mind. I REALLY LIKE THIS BOOK!!!

Lucky, Luke O'Conner is a sexy inked up tattoo parlor owner looking to expand his business with 2 additional shops. This hotty enjoys his singlehood and have no intentions of being in a relationship until he lays eyes on the most perfect canvas to ever sit in a tattoo chair, Kaley Harlow. In the midst of their first chaotic meeting, Lucky makes a decision that will ensure these two see each other again and for Lucky's sake, hopefully Kaley will have her pants down. But Lucky has no idea the beauty he involved in his rash decision is a former child star whose known for always doing the right thing. He's not called Lucky for nothing, cause contrary to what Kaley is known for, she is looking for someone different. Although these two have no intentions of having a relationship. Fate says otherwise.

I relished watching oops reading (the story transitioned so well I felt like I was watching) the characters develop inner strength, confidence, acceptance all while finding true love. Lucky and Kaley made the perfect couple. They complemented each other's personalities and physically made one hot couple!

Kudos Kelly Gendron.

HASH(0x99cff054) out of 5 stars This series is getting better and better! 31 May 2014

4.5 Stars!!!

Let me start by saying that Lucky can tattoo anything he wants on me - and actually he can do anything he wants to and with me any time!! Yes, another hottie to add to your lists of "best boyfriends ever"!

Kaley decides she needs to change her "good girl" image and goes in to get a tattoo - meeting Lucky, the ultimate "bad boy" tattoo artist. She not only gets the tattoo she wanted, Lucky adds a little something extra that she doesn't know about. Luckily for both of them - that tattoo will be what brings Lucky back into Kaley's life again.

Kaley is shocked to see Lucky again - and realizes he may be just what she needs to finally destroy the perfect image the public seems to have of her. Luckys is all for helping her out - acting the "bad boy" - he goes above and beyond the call of duty. Of course, being around each other, these two can't deny the sparks that are flying around between these too - and when they get together - it is HOT!!

This was a great "never judge a book by it's cover" story. There was so much more to Kaley and Lucky's personality and life than what everyone might have seen from the outside. I loved watching them get to know each other - and enjoyed having some of the characters from the prior books show up for a bit in this story. In the end - these two ended up helping each other out in unexpected ways - and having more than they ever could have imagined.

I'm really enjoying this series - and I love how with each book the stories are getting better and better.

HASH(0x98ec48d0) out of 5 stars Lucky Numbers - a Fun and Hot Read 29 April 2014
By Liz - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I became a fan of Kelly Gendron when I read the first book in this series, Broken Fences, so when an opportunity came to read the third installment in this fabulous series, I jumped all over it. I even reread the other two books first. (Note: You don’t need to read the first two, but doing so will explain the supporting cast.)

Lucky owns a tattoo shop, has a troubled past and is one hot and sweet man. Kaley is an ex child star who wants to leave her perfect image of the good girl behind. In an attempt to rebel, she ends up in Lucky’s shop and in his chair, and although he can’t figure out why she would want to blemish such perfect skin, he ends up granting her wish, but hiding the numbers to his safe within the tattoo. Now he can’t remember the numbers and needs to find her to take a peek at her ink.

What follows is a sweet, hot, sexy romance. He doesn’t think he’s worthy and she doesn’t trust men. But regardless of their pasts, their hurts and their commitment to not be in a committed relationship, they can’t stay away from each other. What starts out as a game to tarnish Kaley’s image, ends up a romantic love affair.

I liked this story for a few reasons. I loved the fact that the characters really felt like a true family. They were fun and easy to embrace. There’s angst of course, and hot sex, but there’s also humor and sweet romance. This story has everything. I highly recommend it as a great way to spend a day.
