Calli is funny, caring and loving. She also adores horses especially the ones on Hank's breeding farm, she works hard has lots of friends but is now wary of relationships after the last disaster left her homeless and jobless. She has moved home to her roots and be near her brother.
Deedee has been away helping look after her mother and grandfather through his last few months of life, now she's home and looking for a job. With Hank wanting a business manager for the farm and her with a degree it works out well. I enjoyed the trip with the history and scenery described well and the fun with clothes and snow gave me a few chuckles. I am glad that Deedee is strong and not willing to just let go without a bit of a fight. Not overly heavy and no graphic sexual content, just a nice slow build up to a relationship between the two main characters and some nice distractions along the way.
After being caught in a blizzard and forced to spend time together, can Calli and Dee deal with the growing attraction between them, and can Calli get past their working relationship and commit to a very personal one instead?
I enjoyed this book. Both Calli and Dee are strong, likeable characters. We all have hard knocks from life and find our own way to continue on. This is a story of love, trust and the human spirit finding a soul mate. I liked the numerous touches too. This is not set the bed on fire, erotic blast, but has enough heat to warm the reader up. You want to bang their heads together on occasion though you will cheer Calli and Dee on as well. Do they finally find a way to have It all? You will have to read this story to find out. I would recommend to others.
