Honey just loves being stroked, hugged and fed. The more you play with her, the more playful she'll become. Feed her carrot to hear her munch, then stroke her nose to see her wiggle her ears and blink her eyes. When she's really happy she'll even sway her head, neigh and snort. 4 x CC batteries included. One supplied. Colours and styles may vary. 3 years +.

Firstly, Honey is beautifully soft and tactile and just the right size for a cuddle on someone's lap. She feels silky to touch and has a sweet face. She's very slightly out of proportion with a big head and little legs but this doesn't bother my daughter.
Honey - like FurReal toys - has various pressure points (on her back, on her nose, and inside her mouth) which make her move her head, nuzzle into you, whinny, and make a crunching noise as if she's munching a carrot. She comes with a carrot which you pop inside her mouth.
Slightly misleadingly, I thought from the picture on the box that she opened her mouth herself, but she doesn't. Her mouth is quite stiff to begin with and you feel as if you're forcing the carrot into her mouth. You also have to get the carrot into just the right place to make her make the munching sound, so don't worry if you don't get it first time.
I'd have liked her to do a bit more for the money, perhaps swish her tail or open her mouth, but my daughter is just delighted with her, so that's the main thing!
She's certainly been a well-loved toy so far and by the way she gets tenderly tucked up at night, I'd say she's not likely to be a flash in the pan, so highly recommended.
Great fun for little girls & my daughter loves it. Whether it will continue to hold her attention, who can tell ? For the moment though it's a hit !
UPDATE - My daughter (at 5 years old) has continued to be entertained by this toy - her Grandad has had to make a stable for Honey, so she has somewhere to sleep if she gets tired during the day (!!) Still, it kept the old fella off the streets & my daughter is well pleased.
Honey is a real cutie and was surprised when it arrived as its a lot bigger than I first thought. Its about the size of a small to medium sized dog. I bought this for my 1 year old grandaughter (but is for older kids really) and she loves it. The noises coming from it are really good and its so cuddly that if bought for a 4 year old or older this would be "THE" gift that would be played with the longest. This is how a toy should be but its much more than a toy, it could be the next family pet.
