Ingredients:

Black-eyed bean flour, onion powder, red pepper powder, salt, celery extract, yeast extract, spices (chilli, turmeric), rice flour, sunflower oil, lemon juice, parsley

Directions:

Add 600ml of cold water to 200g of Love Moin Moin Mix, Mix thoroughly in a bowl to a smooth puree texture, Lightly grease a ramekin/container shape of choice with oil and pour in the Moin Moin mixture. Cover the ramekin with a lid or kitchen foil. For best results steam for 30 minutes is cooked through and set.

A good ‘Moimoi’ mix. It isn’t going to be as smooth as the grounded fresh black eyed beans. For those who do not know what ‘Moimoi’ means, it is sauced and peppered grounded beans that is steamed. A popular dish in Nigeria. Can be eaten with rice (preferably Jollof rice) or on its own.

Lemon has no place in moi-moi simples!!
This grainy mix tasted off, the lemon just lingers!! I will stick to my plain beans flour and have the traditional add ons. For those who haven't tasted moi-moi before this will ruin the experience. I got 10 packs of this, a waste of money. There's absolutely nothing to remedy that off taste attempted with a second pack same disaster quickly binned 8 !
Just keep it simple no antics to impress with moimoi on a shelf! Give customer's options for add ons like other cake mix or even in enclosed satchets like indomie!
