What a book! I agree with the first review,it was sometimes hard to read but at the same time I could not put the book down.
I have read a few books about true life stories but they were about women .
To read about a man and what he went through to get were he is to day was different.
I would recommend anyone to read this story and not be able to put the book down.
I wish this man well with this book and his future.

Jeff Randal has written an incredibly open and honest account of his life, taking both responsibility for his actions and demonstrating a clear understanding for why he acted and reacted in the way that he has. His book is sometimes hard to read because of the honest and brutally open accounts of what happened to him, but it is this very depth that he goes to which demonstrates the level of the soul searching he has done. It seems that Jeff has not always been a 'nice guy' but he explains what leads a man like him to become something he did not respect.
I applaud Jeff for his candour about a subject most men do not even approach, and feel that I understand the male psyche all the better for having read his book.
I thoroughly recommend this as a totally un-put-downable book.

This book is just so down to earth; it's extremely honest (for want of a better word) and I applaud Jeff for writing it. He wasn't a nice man at times who thought money would buy happiness for everyone and certainly to begin with not a good dad, who couldn't see that his wife just wanted to give him all the help he needed until it was too late. I did hope they would get together again but it wasn't to be. An absorbing book that's hard to put down. Don't be surprised if you shed a few tears.

How many times i shouted to him - look at what you've got - stop being such an idiot. He's very self absorbed in his own pity, he has been through real bad things but then he brings so many on himself. His life is a cycle on repeat mode and so is the book, over and over again it's the same your waiting for something to change - does it? I won't say you'll have to read it to find out. It is worth reading even if it is to get annoyed with him.
