This book is an essential companion to Melodys "Love is in the Earth", providing the pictures to the descriptions of all the crystals and minerals covered. The book doesn't just have one photo of each crystal but in the case of the quartz family for example, many, and shows different types.
Without this book "Love is in the Earth" would not be complete, leaving the reader to wonder what each stone looked like, making identification difficult. Readers can now see what each crystal looks like in their raw state before they go out and purchase a stone or crystal.
An excellent and must have book for every crystal enthusiast.

I was actually suprized with this book. i had previously bought the text version of the main book "a kaliedascope of crystals" and the pictoral suplement Z. suplement Z was disappionting, the pictures were scanned rather than photos, the content was good though. However, this one has more crystals than "Z" and the pictures are beautifully amazing, taken by a real photographer. It's a stunning book to add to the "Love is in the Earth" range. I'm waiting for the Pictoral version of the main book to arrive and i hope the imaging is as good as this one.
I would'nt recommend it on it's own, because it is ment to be the third book (after the txt, and pictoral main books). I would recommend all 4 books, as they will be the only books you will EVER need and I have yet to come across a crystal not contained in them.
