In my view, an excellent product and very well made. Reasonably easy to fit together, although the diagrams do not make it easy to identify certain small parts and which way round they fit inside the adjustable stem that holds the laptop support.
When fitting the sliding flange that holds the nut inside the stem support connecting to the height adjusting knob, I found it best to sellotape the nut inside the recess of the flange, to stop it from falling out, and to tip the whole stand over at right angles so that the ends of the legs rest on the floor, in order to screw the height adjusting knob through the main base stem into the sliding flange inside the stem support. The only other thing is to be careful not to over-tighten the two screws that hold the small white plastic support plate against the moulded base cover underneath, as it is only plastic and could split if it is too tight.
Once the stand was assembled, I found that it is easily adjustable for use with a 17" laptop and sitting on a sofa, or even in a bed.
I certainly recommend this product, because it is well constructed and versatile.
