Louise Burness was born in the Scottish town of Arbroath. She spent ten years living in Edinburgh and Fife, and eight years living in West London and Richmond.
Louise has a great passion for London and enjoys combining the allure of the city with an injection of dry, Scottish wit. Her journey as an author began after a string of unsuccessful relationships. Friends joked that she could write a book about her love life. Crappily Ever After, achieved the position of #2 in the Amazon Kindle chart as a result.
Louise writes contemporary, Fiction Humour for adults, reflective of real life and easily related to by many. She has also published two books for children. The second, Rock Upon a Time, is now available as an animation on YouTube. Louise does many of her own illustrations and is currently working on her fourth novel for adults.
