Format: Paperback
Oh dear. I bought this one from hoping it would be an authoritive manual on all aspects of R5. How wrong I was! The book is aimed primarily at end users, with precious little info for administrators and a smattering of development towards the end. Key issues are missing from the index, such as certification, ID recovery, transaction logging, web server configurations... and I could go on. I am so disappointed with this book I feel I've wasted £20-whatever. If you're looking for a system admin manual get the Rob Kirkland book; if you want a development one then join me in the search - just don't buy this one unless you want a basic end-user manual because it certainly isn't a bible by any stretch of the imagination.
