This third and final book in the Audio Fools series brings the plot threads together and weaves a complete picture. The wife has finally lost her battle with cancer, leaving Jeff alone with nothing but regret, remorse and a prophecy that has shaped his life. Spiraling into the darkness he goes back to where it all began before life became complicated and hopes to discover where it all went wrong. During his journey of self discovery he crosses path with a mysterious woman, is she his saviour or just another woman that he will regret crossing paths with?
Telling your story to a perfect stranger isn't as therapeutic when you realise the stranger has grown to be more than expected within a short space of time. Needing to unload his heavy burden to someone that doesn't know all the players in the game Jeff loses himself to the voice at the end of the phone, to the woman he spent one night with. Kali is enigmatic, she too has lost herself along the road that is life but the man in her bar has awoken feelings she has never before experienced. Drawn to him will she be a moth to his flame and burn her wings?
Excellently written with all the characters interwoven and the motivations behind mistakes exposed this is my favourite in the series. Given tough decisions to make Jeff is only human and makes a mess out of things but really there was no better option. Sometimes even your best isn't good enough. It was an emotional and at times heart breaking read. I enjoyed the gypsy blood and the edge it gave the story. A fantastic end to a quirky series.
I don't know when I changed my mind about him but I did and it was fast. Everything was so different in this book! For me it had more of a uplifting vibe even though really sad stuff happened and I was like nooooooo please don't do this to me Tali for most of the beginning. I don't know why but I just knew somehow everything was going to be okay.
I loved sarah she was great. Jeff was great for her simple as. Jeff and Sarah were completely different to Jeff and Sara. I know its confusing but when you read it, you will get it.
Their phone calls were so sweet and genuine. He had more of an emotional connection to Sarah I could really see that. Sarah was alway made feel like she was his perfect one and not second best. I was worried about that a lot because I didn't want to feel like this was the Jeff and Sara show again.
Their first night together was so sexy and magical. I really felt like they were totally meant to be like it was fate or something. Everything happened in the order it should have. Jeff was meant to make all his mistakes and go through all the hard stuff so that he could appreciate her when the perfect person finally came along.
After the first night Jeff and Sarah meet they don't see each other for awhile. Most of the their conversations are over the phone. Jeff tells her about the other Sara and about their long affair. Jeff was definitely a redeemable character, he tried to make the best of a really s***ty situation and then the situation got even more s***ty.
The way Jeff explained everything made me understand why he did what he did for so long.Read more ›

After reading the first book in this series (and loving it!!!) I was all for this one too!! But I must admit that I didn’t read book 2! Gasp, I know! But this book, it didn’t matter. You can read it as a standalone just fine.
This book is Jeffrey, Sara, Kali, and Jacky’s story …sounds complicated but I can assure you it's not. I loved how the author introduced the characters so that if you haven't read the first two you wouldn't be lost.
What turns out to be a love triangle due to a “fortune tellers wise words” with Jacky and Sara gets Jeffrey all a tither when tragic circumstances take place and leaves him wondering what road she really wanted him to take. OMG, this is where the story really gets you so wrapped up you can't put it down. I don't want to give too much of the plot away but that's where Kali comes into it. She opens up his eyes to what the fortune teller really meant.
I really loved this book it was beautifully written and made me cry tears of sadness and happiness can't wait to read more from this up and coming author.
In this 3rd book we get to know and read and who Jeffrey Rossi is and I for one thought I had it sussed out and I put my hands up I was wrong.
We read not only has Jeffrey tells how he has made many mistakes and problems in his past but is going to make amends for all the wrong doings he has done in his past.
Of course it isn't going to easy for him as there are going to be a lot of bumps along the way but Jeffrey is determined to amend his ways.
