Bo is back, and she's ready for action! As always, her mortal bestie Kenzi is along for the ride, eager to add a human touch to Bo‚s supernatural existence. The new season gets off to a bang as the Succubus finds herself navigating a web of seduction between Dyson, Lauren, and a dark fae she just can't resist. As if Bo's hands weren't already full, There is a new Ash in town and he has his own agenda for Bo. Throw in some shocking revelations by Trick, a new boy toy for Kenzi, a Fae-devouring beast with fiery wings, and it's enough to make any girl head straight for the spa. But Bo's not just any girl. She's a Succubus to be reckoned with, and juggling the romantic entanglements of a modern woman while saving the Fae world from fire and brimstone is what she does best.

I thought the first season was okay enough to get me to buy the second and I'm glad I did. There are nearly twice as many episodes as the first which isn't necessarily a good thing but as there's a significant jump in quality then it most certainly is.

There are new and interesting recurring characters such as a new lust interest for Bo in the form of a cocky genius millionaire Dark Fae inventor and one for Dyson in the form of the English Ciara with whom he has a history, and also one, who isn't nearly as interesting as the others and is quite wet, for Kenzi. There's also a new Ash whose motivations are highly suspect. Hale, hitherto Dyson's sidekick come more the fore and is more interesting as a result, also his background is revealed. Many secrets are revealed about other recurring cast members including the girlfriend in a coma of... but that would be telling. Bo meets another close relative whose identity may not come as a surprise. There is lots of hot sex, in particular a scene between Bo and Lauren which manages to please both lesbian fans and straight males, and between Bo and assorted others. And Anna Silk is really hot, no question -I'd be being dishonest if I didn't state that.

The climax very much betrays its low-budget tv roots. A super-baddy with the power to completely make the worldwide hell for the Fae has a secret base in a disused building in Vancouver(?), and only a dozen or so hench-thugs but then that's more than the good guys have for the final battle which will change the world. But what the heck, by the time it gets to this stage the viewer will pretty much swallow anything.

First a word of warning, Lost Girl has a lot of rudeness and nudity in it. It isn't deliberate porn but it is a story centred on a succubus. Having said that series two is excellent, more character development, first class new characters and great storyline.

One other tiny warning, I had a few problems playing this on my Multi region player, never had that happen on new discs before.

I love this show, the only thing i was unhappy with was the fact i had to buy it in the american format. Season 3 is on the tv at the moment yet season 2 does'nt come out over here until september.

This show definately had adult content but it also had lots of fun. There is lots to enjoy, the close relationship between Bo and Kensi, love triangles, action and even some silly moments. My favourite episode is ''Original Skin'' because there is body swapping going on. I think the cast were amazing as they impersonated each other. For me the best one was Dyson when he became Kensi, it was very funny.

The first season was very good and the second season is even better. The cast widens and the story arcs turn from being private detective themed to fae war themed. New characters, new love interests, new situations. I've just watched the season climax and now I'm looking forward to season three.

Tried to see Lost girl this evening. Terrible choice :) very stupid story with many scenes of mutilations, cruelty, violence... per minute. It's not an intelligent movie and certainly not funny. It is like Dark Angel, with the same pathetic script: beautiful girls sorrounded by monsters, freaks and blood over all walls.
Well, it's not enough for me to say it's fun watching it.
I regret buying it.

I love Scifi and lost girl is really great. I am only sad that so far I have been unable to find out when it will be back on the SYFY Channel. I keep going to never miss but can find no information. I can only hope that it is not going to go the way if some other of the best shows on telly ' Eureka' , and it appears also that ' Warehouse 13' is also going to be discontinued after the next series. This is tragic and I can only hope that other people will feel as I do and ensure that 'Lost Girl' returns and that if there is any justice. Eureka will return and Warehouse will remain

At last some sci-fi/fantasy that is good, with light humour that will appeal to the English palate and interesting storylines.
