I remember the whole saga when it first came out. Well-written, good characters and a plot with something to interest everyone.

Exceptionally good family saga right at the top of its genre. Very readable and hugely enjoyed by three different generations of the family !

I thought Book 1 of the Lorimer Family Series looked interesting, read it and have since read book 2 and purchased book 3. My first love is crime fiction but I do like family sagas (Cazalet's for instance) and the Lorimer series is a nice break from all the murder and intrigue. Also like the Bristol/London/Jamaica/San Francisco settings. Well written.
