His dominant personality did exactly what you would expect, it dominated…and in some respects, that left me a little confused because the whilst for the majority of the time I liked him but there were occasions when he really narked me.
Every single thing he undertook was done to satisfy his need for total control but when he saw Rebecca it was obvious that, that desire was going to be tested to it very limit because she was far from ready to fall in line with his plan…or was she?
So, I have already said that Bennett had the ability to nark me…Rebecca doesn’t come off much better because she was more than able to rub me up the wrong way too…I wanted a little more strength from her, it wasn’t as if she was a weak woman she had survived not only a father that was abusive but a mother that well…words fail me but she made it through and was forging her own way in the world and it was that strength that I wanted her to totally own and at times I don’t think she did.
So now I have all of that off my chest I will say that the concept, the storyline was everything I have come to expect from this author. She took me on a journey with two complicated characters that she was adamant that I needed to get to know.
The story was about change, about growth and about challenge and they both met that head on.
I got the rich dominant boss man and his personal assistant attraction and despite the fact this is not an unusual scenario I didn’t dislike it when I took this pair into consideration.
The author was the selling point for me in this story and the story was filled with enough angst and attitude to keep me flipping the pages, I didn’t hate the book far from it and while I can accept that I finished the story feeling content, I would have to admit that I was not entirely swept off my feet.
Title: Long for Me

After visiting Luminous with her good friends and seeing Bennett in a different light performing she finds herself more intrigued and attracted to the man than ever before and the feeling is mutual as Bennett knows he can give her everything her body craves. Their relationship soon becomes more than just a working one but there's more going on in Rebecca's head than Bennett knows and as a man who likes to take control he's sure put through his paces proving to her they're right for each other.
This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone which is how I read it, but I will be going back to read the previous two.
Fantastic writing with sharp, witty dialogue and a plot which flowed along nicely from page to page, it wasn't all about sex, sex, sex which even then tends to be rushed in books with elements of bdsm. Stacey Lynn has done a brilliant job and I would totally recommend this to readers who love a bit of kink alongside their romance.

Stacey Lynn is one of my go-to authors and I always one-click her novels. This is especially true when I see a new one in the Luminious Series! Long for Me can be read as a standalone, but I recommend you read it from the beginning of the series. It’s just that good.
Long for Me is a steamy, naughty and delicious book and I love how rich the stories are. The characters are all well developed and I was immediately sucked in from page one!
In this story, Rebecca is invited by her friend and neighbor, Miranda, to attend the New Year Eve open house party at Luminious. Having come from a rough childhood, Rebecca is curious about the lifestyle but weary of how it’s different from her difficult childhood. As she walks alone getting her bearings, she notices her boss, Bennett, performing a scene. So, conflicted and aroused…. She becomes mesmerized by him. What will happen between Bennett and Rebecca? Will it impact her job as his executive assistant?
Loved it and I can’t wait for the next in the series!!

When she finds herself at Club Luminous on New Year's she is taken aback to find Bennett. Bennett is a Dom and seeing Rebecca at his club tests him in ways he has been fighting since she was hired. They decide to have a night of fun and then go back to their business relationship The next day. That of course is much easier said than done.
Bennett doesn't start off as the most lovable male lead, but as we learn more about him, it's hard not to fall for his bossy charm and determination to see Rebecca happy. I loved how strong Rebecca was. She blossomed beautifully under Bennett's hands. If you love BDSM romances, I cannot recommend this series highly enough.
