"The Sex Pistols guitarist details his life – an impoverished Sixties childhood, sexual abuse and dalliances with crime – in a way that is both moving and candid." (Telegraph, 'Top 50 Books of the Year')
"The Pistols’ story, retold refreshingly and with added rumpage … What’s special about this book is its story arc, which will make the most hardened punk well up … A poignant, honest, drily humorous rump-fest from a lost soul found." (Mojo)

i have loved this guy for 39 years, he changed my life the day i heard that les paul coming from the bollocks album. My guitar hero forever AND a really top bloke
If your a pistols fan its an easy and interesting read.
It never fails to amaze me how self destructive some people can be but then perhaps its that same component that gives us the end product we like so much
Steve was probably a right bastard when he was younger and riding the wave of chaos generated by the Sex Pistols but he always seemed the good laugh in the band...the wide boy but the lad you always wanted as a mate.
Theres so many Pistol's books out but this isn't so much about them as Steve himself, which makes it invaluable to any fans
