This wasn't brilliant, it was a very average read. From the synposis I guessed it was going to be a light hearted feel good romantic read and it started off that way but it soon went down-hill after that.

I don't think it was necessarily the story either...but the format, grammer and typing errors on this was really bad and it really put me off reading it....
for example : " But it wasn't love. It couldn't be love. It had to be hist. And she could get over lust. "
Now if it wasnt for the end part I wouldnt have known what that word was meant to be.
It also kept hyphenating all sorts of words...for example "re-vealing" and "propel-ling".
It was just annoying.

I really just didnt enjoy her writing style or the story in the end, sorry :(

Scattered with typos and a fairly unbelievable plot. Perfectly enjoyable for a quick and easy read, but the characters were 2 dimensional and the storyline and conversations too contrived to really get sucked in.

Another day, another Kindle eBook which was free of charge. This means that you can get anything from a self-published vanity story with little to recommend it to a really gripping story which you'd pay good money for.

Lonely Millionaire fell somewhat in the middle. It was a predictable, sweet story with almost the entire action focused on hero and heroine and their interactions. That's fine in a romance and helps us to learn more about the characters.

Our female lead is Mandy Clayton, a woman who's had her heart bruised and who lives in a sort of seclusion running a guest house (to which few visitors come) and writes letters to a man in the Yukon, a millionaire who's searching for love. Mandy started writing the letters after her friend persuaded her to but has found herself getting more and more interested in the man to whom she is writing.

When his friend Adam Grey comes to the bed & breakfast to check out if Mandy is suitable wife material, Adam pretends he's just a random man from the Yukon coming to visit California. However, in trying to get to know Mandy he might find he gets more than he bargains for.

I enjoyed reading this story although I found there were a few implausibilities along the way - such as the way Mandy allows her almost-complete-stranger guest to take over her house, the way both of them seem to behave romantically and then pretend nothing's happened, the Yukon Millionaire's off-on romance with another potential wife to suit the plot timeline and the way that Adam doesn't come clean when he really should have. The author was trying to string along the `big misunderstanding' when I felt it had stretched beyond breaking point. However, for a free book I can't really complain.

This book was so bad I have actually abandoned it half way through (something I virtually never do). The story line is weak, but with good writing it could have held my attention for the duration of a book, but the 'when will the get it on' aspect is the only thing the writer seems to want the reader to be concerned about. The random kissing between the main characters and the way a stranger enters a B&B and is allowed to part run it is completely unbelievable and actually I didn't even care if they ever got together or not. It was free so at least I didn't waste any money, but I wish I hadn't wasted any of my time either.

When reading this book you sort of know what is going to happen. But that didn't stop me from really enjoying the book and certainly recommending it to everyone. Great book.

This is an average easy read romance. Although not my favourite of Carol Grace books.

A typical romance really, with the question of 'will they, won't they' repeatedly rearing it's head throughout
I got a little bit frustrated with this story line to be honest.

If it's free, it's worth it to waste a few hours by the beach on holiday when over half of your attention is being grabbed by your toddler, but not a book for those who like to read well written, thought provoking books.

And the grammatical errors really were bad.
