"The authors have packed a vast trove of fact and lore, of hot tips (free tango “taster” lessons in Spitalfields) and even hotter tip-offs (antique fetish gear in Covent Garden). This is London, but perhaps not as you know it." (Anthony Sattin Sunday Times)
"Just in time for Valentine’s Day 2013, here’s a guide to romantic London. And if you’ve ever wanted a cheat sheet for arranging dates in the capital, this is it" (Londonist)

Lots of ideas for first dates, as well as for people who have lived in London for a long time, but stopped discovering it. There should be a book like this for every city.
Beautifully presented, this captivating guide is redolent of Virginia Woolf's 'Mrs. Dalloway', eloquently evoking the life of the flaneur.
London for Lovers features some well-known London landmarks but also many less familiar, all wrapped up in bite-size tours and detours.
A must-have for any London visitor, with or without a lover.
On occasions when friends or family visit from outside London and ask to visit central we are inflicted with having to spend a day mooching around Covent Garden or Leicester Square. It seems to us that a lot of tourists feel safest in those well trodden areas, and are in fact averse to exploring further. For us London is so much more than these tourist traps, and this book perfectly encapsulates some of the (dare I say trendier) places to see.
We like to go into London most weekends and we always try to find something new to do, often referring to Time Out as a guide of current events. Now we like to carry this book with us (in a rucksack, it's too big for a pocket). I've loved flicking through finding new things to do in places I thought I already knew. It's even better when you find something in there that you already know about, it's like an affirmation of your explorative skills.
It does require some knowledge of London, or at least the ability to cross reference with a map if you're new to London. This hasn't been a problem for us, and quite honestly if a book were to contain all you needed to know then it would both steal part of the magic of finding it yourself, plus it would need to be encyclopedic in size.
A perfect book for Lovers in (and of) London who like to explore the city away from the tourist hot spots.

This is a great gift for your lover or for engagement or wedding gift.Published 18 months ago by C. Smithson
The book itself doesn't really do itself justice with loads of pages of words and barely any photos. Read more
A little disappointed, worded in a way to make it seem a lot more than it is! Could be written a lot simpler and I recon people would prefer it!Published on 1 Dec. 2013 by Bigcol1986
