Everything that you need for a trip to London is there - maps, reviews of hotels and restaurants, walks, top tips, ideas for days out ... the list goes on!
It's got something in for everyone too, regardless of budget, so pack one to take with you, whether that's in a student rucksack or an upmarket suitcase!

The only downside would be that they don't list many Youth Hostels or cheap eat-outs. It's more oriented to a "regular" traveler and I think nowadays there are more and more "low-budget" travelers who could profit for a more low-budget oriented guide.
All in all, a Lonely Planet Guide. That is, very complete and well informed!!

This city guide is no different - the best.
Loads of info, loads of tips - quite simply, the only guide book you will ever need for London.

It has the usual Lonely Planet positive aspects - complete and up to date info. However, I found the index at the end of the book confusing as it was alphabetically organised but... Read morePublished on 2 Oct. 2010 by Cazza
