Review

What a great book. Having gardened in London all my life it feels as if it s been written just for me. I thought I knew all the best gardening places but there are quite a few I hadn't discovered till now and will have to check out. --Joe Swift, garden designer and TV presenter

A rich and colourful journey around London s gardens and gardeners, this beautiful book bursts through the usual definition of gardens and delights in discovering them everywhere, from roof tops to roundabouts. --Richard Reynolds, GuerrillaGardening.org

A brilliant and inspiring book, showing the amazing breadth of creativity going on right now in London gardens. --Tom Hodgkinson, The Idler

This is a meticulously well researched book which is full of interesting details, botanical gems and well written too. The book takes you away from the grimy city pavement and transports you on a journey over the fence to a special hidden side of London I didn't know existed. The green under belly of this city is a feast. A really good book.
