A look into the background of the proper tailors on and off Savile Row. I did notice a few mistakes in the editing, but these are all cleared up later on in the book. I learnt quite a lot from this book, and find James Sherwood to be very knowledgeable on the subject of bespoke London tailors. I'm pleased that he covered Kilgour, Ravi Tailor and Edward Sexton, as well as a number of tailors not usually talked about in the context of Savile Row.

Nifty little book that was a lovely read. Short, concise and very educational. Found this a very charming book, but if you want something more specific or something that contains a long analysis or review this isn't the book for you.

Purchased on an underlying belief that the title would lead me further into afield which for so many years i have enjoyed but also neglected in discovering how much has been put into a look that i have pursued for many years. Factual, entertaining,a trip of discovery and indulgence.

I'm in the early stages of researching bespoke tailoring and the Saville Row traditions.
Great information on the history and origins of this proud tradition.

To some up this book in short it is "perfect". It contains everything that you need to know about about the past, present and future of one of the most prestigious street's on earth.

James Sherwood has written an absolute masterpiece and I can not emphasize enough what a bargain this product is. "It is a real gem."

If you are pondering whether to buy this book do not, just buy it.
Believe me you will not regret the decision to invest.

"Enjoy!"
