5.0 out of 5 stars An Inspired Reunion 31 Mar. 2010
By Chris W. - Published on
This 1976 London concert is a great recording of Konitz and Marsh together, and they're inspired by each other, especially when playing simultaneously in counterpoint, which they do a lot here, including on It's You or No One, All the Things You Are, Star Eyes - and even a brief excursion on Bach's Invention in A Minor! It's mostly a piano-less quartet with bassist Peter Ind and drummer Al Levitt, except on You Go To My Head, featuring Konitz with bass and drums, and Easy Livin', which similarly showcases Marsh.
