Plug in the receiver, within seconds it's working and works well. The mouse is a comfortable shape. All plastic with no rubberised sides to get grubby or sticky. The wheel is slightly rubberised so you don't slip. It is only mildly notchy. Everything works nicely with Win XP default mouse settings.

When I bought this Logitech Wireless Mouse M215 - Black it was really cheap at £9.99 including postage which is quite an amazing price. If one presses the button underneath, the top half with the manufacturers name on it comes off revealing not only the battery but also the nano USB 2.00 receiver. Also underneath is the on/off switch which helps give the battery phenomenal life! When everything is connected up, this mouse even works on my knee! Well recommended at this price!

This mouse used to cost £9.99 including postage, and was easily the very best 'Bang for your Buck' wireless mouse around. I'd have given it five stars, easily! As of Mid-July 2011, exactly the same mouse costs £21 including postage, which is why it only gets four stars.

The public knows a good deal when they see one. At that price, I bet they flew of the shelves! I'm sad the price has doubled, but make no mistake; it's still a superb mouse!

Hey, it's NOT black! It's matt charcoal underneath, matt dark grey on top, and has a slightly glossy mid-grey stripe around the sides and the top. It has a quality finish and everything fits perfectly.

Oh, it feels great in the hand! It weighs 82g with battery, is 100mm long, 60mm wide and 37.4mm high.

The Nano Receiver weighs 1.7g and installs and connects almost instantly under XP, Vista and Win 7. The range is at least six metres; I ran out of lounge before I ran out of range! The Nano Receiver stows away next to the battery under the pushbutton flip-off cover when not in use.

This mouse feels good in the hand and behaves superbly! It stays put when you just want to click or scroll, yet moves smoothly under your hand over the mat and lands precisely on the pixel you want.

The scroll wheel has a slightly 'grippy' finish and a lightweight action with slight 'notches' that makes it really easy to scroll at speed, yet finish exactly where you want. The wheel requires 230g of pressure to 'middle click', which I find a bit heavy, but at least it prevents accidental 'middle clicks'!

The mouse uses one AA alkaline battery (supplied) and has an on-off switch underneath to extend battery life. When you switch on, an LED indicator on top lights green for ten seconds to tell you the battery's OK.

I love this mouse for its convenience factor. I am a consultant so I am constantly moving from client to client with my laptop and many other peripherals. Not having to remove the usb mouse dongle when I pack away my laptop is bliss. I liked my older Logitech mouse (also wireless) as it sat better in my hands. This one feels a tad too small.

I bought this mouse after searching few other options. I chose this one mainly because it can work from several meters!! (and it does!!!). It's really good mouse, with good DPI. Simply very good choice!

This mouse is quite small which suits me because my pad always seems to be getting cluttered up. There seems to be some sort of timing arrangement built in so you keep on having to switch it on when you haven't used it for a while. This no doubt prolongs the life of the battery but I do find it rather tiresome.

This is the best wireless mouse I have ever owned.

I previously owned the Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 Dark Silver - 910-000937 which stopped working after approximately 2 months usage. As a result of my frustration, I decided to "downgrade" and go for a cheaper option.

It's durable/reliable - I have been using this mouse since January '11 and I have no complaints whatsoever. In addition to this, I have knocked it off my sofa and onto the carpet (approx 2 foot drop) countless times and it is still working as good as new. I have also damaged the wireless receiver (through fault of my own) and, to my surprise, it keeps on working. For want of a better description, this mouse is a fighter!

The battery life is good. I'm not entirely sure how long the battery life is but it's very good and I have no complaints - it's certainly something you should not worry about if this is potentially an issue for you.

It has a fairly good range. I have had my laptop connected to my TV via HDMI and have been sat on the sofa approximately 4 metres away and it has worked faultlessly. I've not tried it from a greater distance but I'm not sure why you'd need to be any further away?

It is comfortable to use and it is neither too big or too small. It is probably best suited for use with a laptop (as I am using it) but there is no reason not to use it with a Desktop PC.

To sum things up, if you want a mouse that it comfortable and does all of the basic things which you need a mouse to do without any fancy buttons then you need not look elsewhere. (I use my left hand so the ones with the forward/back clicks irritate the hell out of me because they're designed for right-hand use)

Why spend two or even three times more on another mouse when the perfect product is right here?
