Advanced Optical Sensor
G502 comes equipped with the PMW3366 optical sensor with zero acceleration, smoothing, or filtering across the entire DPI range (200-12,000DPI). That means you get exceptional tracking accuracy and consistent responsiveness no matter what sensitivity you set the mouse to.
On-the-Fly DPI
Add even more control to your game with quick DPI shifting from low to high sensitivity. Use the thumb button to transition between headshot-precise low-sensitivity targeting to lightning-fast high-DPI maneuvers. Cycle up and down through as many as five DPI settings with a click. Three DPI indicator lights tell you which setting you are on. Program these DPI settings with Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) or use the default settings that work great out-of-the-box.
Dual-Mode Hyper-Fast Scroll Wheel
Unlock the scroll wheel for hyper-fast continuous scrolling to spin quickly through long pages, or lock it down for single click precision scrolling. The weighty, metal wheel delivers confident, smooth and satisfying control for either mode.
Game Ready Details
In addition to the core performance and personalization features, many details were thoughtfully designed: Look for primary buttons rated to 20 million clicks with mechanical microswitches, braided cable with hook and loop cable tie, rubberized grips, magnetic weight-cavity door, and more.
Tune to Your Specs
A wide variety of weight and balancing configurations, custom RGB lighting,
11 programmable buttons, on-the-fly DPI shift settings, desk surface tuning and more.
Personalize G502 for your gaming setup and style with Logitech Gaming Software.

Here's the bad. The scroll wheel is fragile. I've had two of these, the first I had from Amazon and the scroll lock button (which stops the wheel from free wheeling and is uncontrollable) didn't work. Logitech support were great and sent me a replacement. The replacement has lasted about 11 months before the scroll wheel stopped registering on screen, on websites or games. I could ask them for another replacement, but decided to let it go and just use my old Fireglider optical.
Has braided cable
Comes with weights you can add to the mouse to specifically suit your preference.
Logitech Gaming software can be installed to customize the colour of the mouse as well as remap some buttons.
Excellent Gaming mouse and very good quality for the price.
I swapped out my Mionix castor mouse for the G502 and there is a noticeable difference in quality. The castor generally feels better in the hand and I was initially disappointed with how the the G502 felt. However, i've continued with the logitec due to just how configurable it is and overall (for the price I paid) I think this is a good mouse.....but the Mionix is better.
I would still argue that £60-£80 for the G502 is way too much money (from a quality perspective) but get a good deal (less than £40 like I did) and its well worth it.
I use this mouse with a xim apex allowing me to use mouse and keyboard on console
LOGITECH G502 REVIEW
After unboxing it first glance it looks like a RAT mouse with its jagged edges, it looks a bit smaller than my old perrix mx3100
I have very large hands so finding a mouse that's a perfect fit is a struggle
When I first took it out the box it felt a bit rattly when shook which didn't sound good, the rattle was coming from the scroll wheel, this mouse has 2 wheel options either free wheel where the mouse wheel spins untill it stops itself or you can set it to the standard click when turned
Free wheel it spins for ages which I don't think would be good for pubg, maybe for scrolling through large documents yeah
The mouse comes with a box of weights to try out but Tbh I notice no real difference with them in or out
After I pressed the button on the mouse to enable the click on the wheel the rattle mostly disappeared but was still slightly there
The size of the mouse isn't large but isn't small is say it's around the middle, slightly too small for my hands as my pinky and rung finger drag across my steel series cloth mat but it's no biggy since my hands are large and I'm used to it
Not had any cramping of the hand or anything so it can't be that small
First thing I done was load up the Logitech gaming software to check the dpi settings and Hz, by default the max dpi level is around 2500 and 1000hz
My single dpi setting is 12k and 1000hz
When you first load up the software make sure the selector is set to on board memory when making changes
Since I never change dpi when playing I changed it to only have 1 dpi profile therefore I can use one of the dpi adjustment buttons in my setup (more later)
Lighting can be easily changed to "breath" or just stay illuminated, I like mine to breath through the colours which can all be customised
All dpi and hz settings saved to in board memory, since I don't change dpi I reset the dpi+ button to a single key stroke that isn't used
Plugged it in to the xim apex and everything was fine so I originally set it up like this
Scroll up - d pad up
Scroll down - d pad down
2 left thumb buttons - LB and RB
Single thumb button - LB
Scroll press - map
Left tilt - nades
Right tilt - firing mode
The left tilt and right tilt never felt right, and didn't always register also sometimes when I pressed the scroll she'll for map it would also register a tilt which wasn't very good
I removed the tilt settings and set nades to the dpi+ button and my meds were set to key T
After that everything ran fine
Gameplay help Great, I had also changed alot of my settings at the same time so everything was still quite new, I played all day yesterday with the new settings and G502 and it's definitely a great mouse to play with
Precision and movement is very good, I forgot to mention you can also calibrate the mouse to different surfaces, wether it makes a difference or not I still don't it calibrating it to my steel series cloth mat
Overall
I'd day it's definitely a great purchase and I would recommend It, it's not overly expensive but it's not on the cheap side either, if you want to progress your xim use and are looking for a great mouse get a G502
Pros
Saveable memory
Good button set up
Great sensor
Decent price
It says there are macros that can be saved to the mouse but I've not tried them
Cons
Rattly when shook especially when the mouse is set to free wheel
Tilt setting not the best
The 2 left thumb buttons feel like they should be moved forward slightly but it may just be my hands
Braiding on the cable is far too tight which is already causing it to split but that can easily be fixed but looking through Google it's a common fault Logitech should fix

All in all an amazing mouse bought out of my own stupidity and failed to return as I fell in love.
An established brand,
Fully configurable buttons,
10+ buttons.
This mouse has really hit the sweet spot for me on price, quality and comfort.
The hardest part of the whole process was configuring it to my needs. For everyone, how heavy the mouse is and what DPI you want your mouse is very subjective. The G502 really does its best to accommodate personal preference.
Pros:
Customisable
Easy to configure
Nice clicky buttons
Love the scroll wheel and toggle
Cool "G-shift" option to double your button options
Cons:
If you have the side scroll configured to anything else, very easy for them to be hit
"Aim button" a little further away from my hand than I would have liked but only by a few mm, not a big issue
I am happy to give this product 5/5. Such a good mouse!
