Build quality is very nice and the material texture of the "leather" is very comfortable to the touch, but the edge of the entire wrist rest is surrounded by a ring of flat leather which had a sharp edge cut, as you can clearly see in the side-view picture. So that's gonna cause some discomfort as it can easily scratch on the wrist and it irritates me a little bit.

Other than that I think this is a solid wrist rest, certainly the best thickness for the low-profile keyboards.

I have a Logitech MX3 Mouse which is superb.

I have just taken delivery of a Logitech MXKeys Mini for Mac which is superb...and so an MX Palm rest seemed an obvious purchase.

But to be candid I am not convinced I bought the right bit of kit. I wish I had done a bit more research.

I expected it to be thicker and put my wrists higher. It is actual quite thin: about 8mm. So not quite as supportive as a taller rest might be.

It seems to be quite well made and robust: time will tell.

The material is a smooth plastic and feels quite tacky on the warm days we have been having.

I am not convinced I am using it correctly and have the right ergonomics going. It is a Palm rest and what I wanted is a Wrist rest. Using it as a palm rest is better but then my hands lift off a I type. As a wrist rest , I do not have to lift my hands but then it feels a bit sweaty on the bottom of my wrists.

What I have not experienced is the thing slipping or moving around on my desk which is a complaint some reviewers have levelled.

So my advice to to shop around before you buy. It is not a bad product it just is not quite the solution I was hoping for.

But I might get used to it with practice.

There are literally hundreds palm rests available to browse, so you might be wondering why it's worth even considering the more expensive variety.

Well, it does at the very least feature the correct dimensions for your MX Keys device. It's a low profile keyboard and therefore having the optimal depth for a palm rest is going to be crucial.

It matches the colour and design of the MX Keys. Okay that's a weak argument, but it does admittedly look sharp.

Perhaps most importantly, the product is high quality and isn't just another lump of gel. It resists abrasion and liquids really really well - something that cheap rests are no good at. It doesn't have a 'sticky' texture, so you won't need to clean muck from it that's accumulated from your desk. And it's formed as a single piece, with a nice finish to the base.

Now, does it slip around? I haven't had this issue so far, but having said this, I do imagine that its grip would differ a lot depending on the surface. I use this product on an oak table and it stays in place fine, but I imagine that with a more matte surface, there could be problems.

Regardless, I'm happy that I chose this product. It is clearly overpriced, but then my way of thinking is that if one is willing to spend a monkey on a keyboard, then a bit more on an accessory shouldn't be an issue.

Got it in a deal with the Mx master keyboard. Was more expensive on its own.

Feels well made a sturdy.

Can't tell if I like it or not though.

I do use it most of the time, but sometimes it feels like it's in the way since the keyboard has such a low profile.

For that reason it sometimes sits on the side. Maybe better with a more traditional keyboard, but I've got used to the new keyboard now.
